The country’s biggest corporate giant has released its financial results for the second quarter ending September of this 2020-21 financial year. Corona made a net profit of Rs 9,567 crore, turning everybody’s expectations upside down even in the face of hardship. In actuality, Bloomberg also estimated that the provider’s net profit would be limited to Rs 9,017 crore. But expectations were surpassed. However, the profit declined by 15.05 percent over the same period last year. Revenue fell, especially in the gas and petroleum companies. The company had a net profit of Rs 11,262 crore in the second quarter of this past year.
Reliance Retail has reported a revenue of Rs 41,100 crore. It was just Rs 31,620 crore in the previous quarter. Companies’ sales increased since the lockdown relaxed. Operational profit EBTD Rs.2009 crore. It dropped to 5.4 percent from 6.3 percent compared to last year. It was only Rs 990 crore in the previous quarter. Geo’s revenue rose to Rs 17,481 crore this year from Rs 13,130 crore at the year-ago period. Last year it was just Rs 120. After China, Geo became the only telecom company with 40 crore users.
Oil and gasoline…
The company’s oil and gas revenue is steadily improving. Company operating revenue increased. EBITDA increased by 17.8% compared to the previous quarter. But, it was 23 per cent lower than the organization’s revenue this past year. 38,538 crore last year. In the refining and marketing segment, the company’s revenue grew by 33.3 percent to Rs 62,154 crore. But, it was less than Rs 97,229 crore last year.
Reliance Jio has a net profit of Rs 2,844 crore. It was only Rs 990 crore in the previous quarter. Geo’s revenue rose to Rs 17,481 crore this year from Rs 13,130 crore in the year-ago period. Average revenue per user also increased from Rs 140 to Rs 145. Last year it was only Rs 120. After China, Geo became the only telecom company with 40 crore users.
